We believe the future of a puppy is shaped long before a litter is born, and therefore every breeding decision begins with rigorous health and genetic testing, extensive pedigree research, and an exacting evaluation of structure, soundness, temperament, and beauty.
Pedigree is paramount because it reveals far more than just the qualities of one individual dog. We study the health, lifespan, and temperament carried through many generations and specifically seek out bloodlines that support the deeper purpose of the Kingridge Smart From the Start program.
