This private application allows us to begin learning about your family, your lifestyle, and the Labrador you hope to welcome into your home.
At Kingridge we intentionally raise a limited number of puppies so that we can devote the exceptional amount of time, care, and individual attention that we believe each one deserves. As a result, interest in our puppies often far exceeds availability.
Every application that we receive is personally reviewed; however, we are not always able to respond individually to every application. We contact the families whose homes, expectations, and values appear most closely aligned with Kingridge.

From Application to Homecoming
The application below is only the first step in a thoughtful process designed to help us learn about each family, establish the waiting list relationship, and ultimately guide the most compatible puppy placement for lasting future success.
- 01Complete the private application
Your Kingridge journey begins by telling us about your unique family, lifestyle, expectations, and hopes for a future Labrador.
- 02 Personal review and phone conversation
After reviewing your application, we will reach out to schedule a phone conversation. This is a time to answer your questions, get to know one another better, and determine whether Kingridge is the right fit for your family.
- 03 Submit a deposit to join the Kingridge waiting list
Once we have mutually determined that Kingridge is the right fit, you will receive a private link to submit a deposit and join the Kingridge waiting list.
- 04 Complete our In-Depth Family Questionnaire
After the litter is born, each family completes our comprehensive Puppy Personality Inventory. This survey explores your family's routines, lifestyle, home environment, activities, preferences, and hopes for a future Labrador. It is an important tool in our matching process.
- 05 Puppy visitation day
On this day, each family on the waiting list is invited to a private visit with the litter, either in person or by video call, to meet the puppies and enjoy seeing their developing personalities firsthand.
- 06 Thoughtful Puppy-to-Family Matching
After closely studying each puppy for weeks, we combine what we have observed with the results of each family's completed Puppy Personality Inventory and the independent evaluation to recommend the puppy we feel is the best match while considering each family's unique preferences.
- 07 Welcome Your Puppy Home
On Homecoming Day, we celebrate an exciting new beginning. We introduce you more fully to your puppy and walk through the details of their training progress and routines. Then we pass the baton to your family, sending you home with everything you need to start your journey with success.
